1.             ABOUT US AND THE WEBSITE

1.1          www.savvney.com (“Website”) is a website owned and maintained by Savvney C.I.C, a privately-owned community interest company registered in England & Wales with registered number 08577066 and its registered address at 40 Occam Road, Surrey Research Park, Guildford, GU2 7YG.

1.2          Throughout these terms, Savvney C.I.C. is referred to as “we”, “our”, “us”, or “Savvney”. We use the terms “you” and “your” to mean any person visiting or using the Website, and any organisation or person visiting or using the Website on an organisation’s behalf.

2.1          By visiting or using the Website, you are agreeing to these Terms of Use. Please ensure you read them carefully. If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, please do not continue to use the Website.

2.2          We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Should we do so, the new terms will become effective from the moment they are uploaded onto the Website. You should check the Terms of Use when you visit the Website to confirm the most recent Terms of Use that apply.

3.             NO LIABILITY FOR OTHER WEBSITES OR SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

3.1          At times the Website may link to other websites. These links are solely for your convenience or information, and may be subject to their own terms and conditions. We cannot verify the accuracy of any information contained in third party websites, nor does the inclusion of these links represent an endorsement or a recommendation of the third-party websites. Savvney accepts no liability for the content of any website to which the Website links.

3.2          Savvney operates channels, pages and accounts on some social media, which can be accessed via links on the Website. We are not responsible for any information posted on those social media sites other than information we have posted ourselves. We do not endorse the social media sites themselves, or any information posted on them by third parties or other users.

4.             LINKING TO THE WEBSITE

4.1          You may link to our home page from your website, as long as it is done in a way that is both fair and legal, this includes, but is not limited to the sharing of social media content.

4.2          You must not link to our Website if doing so may damage our reputation or where you suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

5.             YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE

5.1          When you visit or use the Website:

(A)           you agree not to access, copy, or otherwise use the Website, except as authorised by these Terms of Use or as otherwise authorised in writing by Savvney; and

(B)           you agree not to impersonate any person or entity, use a fictitious name, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

6.             COURSE PACKAGES

6.1          The Website enables you to register and to buy access to online financial education resources.

6.2          When registering, you will be required to provide certain personal details including your name, telephone number and email address into the registration form, and submitting this through the Website. The use of your data that you provide is governed by our Privacy Policy as per section 7 below.

6.3          Once registered, you will then be able to purchase course packages through the Website that are relevant to you. Your purchase of a course package will be governed by the Course Package Purchase Terms that you will be required to agree to upon making a purchase.

7.             DATA PRIVACY

8.             OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

8.1          We are the owner of all intellectual property rights in the Website and the material published on it, including, among other things, all trade marks, logos, service marks and service names, whether they are registered or not. These works are protected by, among other things, copyright laws and treaties around the world.  We reserve all such rights.

8.2          Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our Website (including material in a course package) must always be acknowledged. You must not in any way use any part of the materials on, or obtained via, our Website for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence from us to do so.

8.3          You may not copy, reproduce, republish, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use, Website content in any way except for your own personal and non-commercial use. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any Website content except for your own personal, and non-commercial use.

9.             LIABILITY

9.1          These Terms of Use exclude or limit our liability arising out of the use of, or relating to, the Website to the extent that the law permits us to do so. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or for our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

9.2          While we take reasonable steps to ensure that the information on, or obtained via, the Website is accurate and up to date we do not give or make any warranty or representation (whether express or implied) that any such information is accurate, timely, complete or available.  We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage as a result of your use of, or reliance on, the information on, or obtained via, the Website, or for your inability to access or use the Website for any period of time.

9.3          While we endeavour to ensure that the Website is free from any viruses or other malicious or harmful content, we do not accept any liability for errors, delays, or damage to your computer or device as a result of using the Website. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have up to date antivirus software, or any other necessary equipment in order to use the Website safely and to avoid anything that may damage or harm your computer or device.

10.          ACCESSING THE WEBSITE

10.1       We may have reason to update the Website from time to time, though we are not under any obligation to do so. We may update or remove information from the Website for business reasons, for example if the content of a course package is being updated, or if information is no longer relevant.

10.2       From time to time, we may restrict or suspend access to some parts of the Website, or the entire Website, for example for maintenance purposes. As such, access to the Website is not necessarily permanent or guaranteed.

12.          TERM AND TERMINATION

12.1       These Terms of Use will apply to you as soon as you access the Website and will continue to have effect until they are terminated or if you are no longer interacting with Savvney.

12.2       We may terminate your right to use the functions of our Website at any time, including if you violate or breach these Terms of Use or if allowing you to access and use the Website or their related functions would violate any applicable laws, rules and regulations, or would expose Savvney to any legal liability whatsoever.

12.3       If the Terms of Use are terminated or you are no longer interacting with Savvney, these Terms of Use may no longer apply. However, any provisions of the Terms of Use that by their nature should continue to apply after termination of these Terms of Use will do so. This includes, without limitation, all limitations on liability, choices of law and judicial forum and intellectual property protections and licences. 

13.          GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

13.1       These Terms of Use, the Website and any information contained in, or obtained from, it will be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute arising from these.
